Revise your stock rear suspension and gain 1 inch in height in the rear, you will now have a true suspension.

Assemble as shown, front y axle is not attached.

Drill through rear axle as shown.
|
|
|

|
|
Insert shaft into front axle from inside.
|
|
|
 |
|
|
Insert spring and washer.
|
|

|
|
 |
|
|
Cut off carriage in front of bearing shaft.
|
|
|

|
|
Using a 3/16 drill open up hole in rear axle.
|
|
|
 |
|
|
It will be a tight fit, rod should stick out 1/8 inch.
|

|
insert in rear y axle and attach washer and nut.
|
|

|
Completed suspension. The height of the suspension can be altered after assembly of sled by turning the nut holding the rear y axle locked.

AS 2001 Stock Suspension Upgrade

Use a .098 drill to machine trough one of the holes at the base of the front Y axle. Should be smaller then thraded rod supplied.

|
|
Move drill up and down to elongate hole vertically.
|
|
|
 |
|
|
Insert nut. do not use washer.
|
|
|
